Death and Our Perceptions
Death is often viewed as an end, the point our lives terminate and cease to be. Through the passing of loved ones, many go into a state of grieving over the loss of that person, even devastated by the thought they may never see them again, or that they will no longer play a part in their lives.
The Past Life of a Ancient Child
When I woke up this morning, a Past Life Regression session I done about 8 or 9 years ago popped into my head for some reason (obviously to make me write this post).
The client I was working with went back to the past life of a young boy running on a beach. The client couldn’t tell me where he was or what the time period was, but he did tell me that it seemed that it was long ago.
Where He Lived
The life the client lived in this past life was very primitive. He soon moved on to where he lived. His home seemed to contain simple huts which were situated next to a jungle or some sort of forest. From the descriptions of the landscapes, temperature and the way they lived, it may have been somewhere such as South America, however the client could give no specifics. It just seemed they didn’t label places and times in the place the client was recalling. The best answer he could give was that it seemed like it was thousands of years ago.
The Death Point
As the life progressed, the young boy was out playing and running among the trees. He stepped on what he thought may have been a broken branch and cut his foot.
When he returned to where he lived, they tried to help him. There was a woman, who gave him some sort of medicine, but the boy’s wound became infected and he eventually became ill and developed a fever.
This was to be the event that ended this clients past life. He didn’t recover from the wound and died.
The client moved through the death point of the past life; however what he told me was very interesting. He could see his body; however there was no grief from his mother or family. As the client passed to the spirit state, I asked him why there was no grief. He simply said that this place was long ago, and that the people of this time understood death much more than we do now.
The client did go on to say that his Mother was sad, but the connection between the physical life and the spiritual state was much more connected. So there was an understanding that he wasn’t gone, but only returned to the spiritual state.
Between Lives Understanding
This really ties in with the knowledge and experiences that come out of other between lives sessions. We are told that the physical lives we perceive are for learning.
Our true state is the eternal soul, the conscious awareness or conscious energy. Our purpose on earth is purely for learning, to expand our understanding and awareness.
We have lived and died many times as souls, narrowing our perception of what we are and entering the game of life to experience that which we need to learn, and then pass back out again, awakening back to our true state.
Fear of Death
Maybe as our cultures have advanced, we have allowed ourselves to fear death more. Although most religious beliefs suggest we live on, we have become drawn more to science and the questioning of what is and isn’t reality based on what we can prove.
Some beliefs even have us fearing death, that we have retribution to face or some form of external judgment. Through the between life state however, it’s usually portrayed that there is no judgment by guides or advanced beings. Usually the only judgment displayed is our own disappointment as a soul that we have veered off our path and maybe even brought disruption to other souls who are on similar journeys.
I have noticed a huge shift over the last 10 years with how more people are opening up to spiritual experience. Looking for deeper understanding in their lives and seeking out more meaning.
Are we maybe returning to simpler times, connecting more with our inner knowledge that our ancestors understood?
Reconnecting with our inner power and strengthening our spiritual connections through our human form?
Moving into our next state of advancement as a species?
Becoming more aware again of the bigger picture and the true purpose of life and death?
Knowing that physical death is only the point of reawakening back to our eternal conscious energetic existence.
I think so anyway!
